In this series of drawings, my aim was to gain further understanding into the sun's path across the sky. I also spent some time studying the speed of the sun's movement by taking measurements of moving shadows through a south facing room.

To make these measurements easier I modelled and built a tool for measuring the angle of the sun. The tool works by aligning two apertures and measuring the offset.
